How do I track the training volunteers have completed?

You can use qualification fields to track the most up to date training volunteers have passed. Custom fields will allow you to record other detail such as historical completion, dates, or even certificates given to volunteers


We have an e-learning platform outside of Better Impact. Can we port it over to Better Impact?

No. You need to start with a blank canvas to add your own content.


We have modules that only certain volunteers should be able to access. What do we do?

If you uncheck the display setting for the module but keep the ‘active’ setting checked off, you can generate a link for that module and share with the volunteers that need to complete it.


Can I add content other than text to an e-learning module?

Yes! You can add content like images or even embed videos from YouTube to support the learning experience volunteers will have.


If I add several lifetime hours or anniversary badges, will volunteers see each one they’ve been given?

No. They’ll just see the highest value badge they qualify for.


How can I share some recognition with a volunteer directly?

You could use the Personal Message feature to display a message on the volunteer’s home screen or timeclock (if being used)


I have a custom field to upload volunteer certificates. If I upload a new certificate, what happens to the old one?

If you upload a file to a custom field that already has a file uploaded to it, the new file will overwrite the old file. Create separate fields to track historical certifications.
